What is the 10K Project?

The 10K Project is WLU's flagship mobilisation model. We are inviting a minimum of 1 million Ugandans to each contribute UGX 10,000 per month. At that scale, the movement can generate UGX 10 billion per month and UGX 120 billion per year — enough to invest seriously in healthcare, housing, training, and broader social development.

How do I become a WLU member?

You can register online through the signup page on this website. You will need to provide your personal details, next-of-kin information, and agree to the WLU membership terms. Once registered, you can contribute through MTN Mobile Money (merchant code: WLU) or Airtel Money (business number: 560220).

What are the benefits of WLU membership?

As a WLU member you are prioritised for employment and business contracts awarded by the organisation, receive subsidised access to WLU service provision centres, are considered for member-focused housing opportunities and financing pathways, and gain access to education and career advancement programmes linked to WLU's work.

How do I contribute monthly through mobile money?

MTN subscribers: Dial *165#, select Payments -> Goods & Services, enter merchant code WLU, enter your reference and amount, then confirm with your PIN. Airtel subscribers: Dial *185#, select Pay Bill -> Others, enter business number 560220, enter your amount and reference, then confirm with your PIN.

Is WLU a political or religious organisation?

No. With Love Uganda is entirely non-political and non-religious. We welcome members from all backgrounds, tribes, faiths, and political persuasions. Our mission is about Ugandans working together for a better Uganda.

What sectors does WLU invest in?

WLU's programme pillars include healthcare, housing, education, tourism, banking, innovation, and practical development pathways that can improve the welfare and standards of living of Ugandans.

How is WLU governed and are contributions safe?

WLU is a registered organisation limited by guarantee, governed by a board of directors and subject to standard financial and legal oversight. Member contributions are accounted for transparently and directed into the programme areas committed to in our published reporting.
