Alex Mwine

Founder & Vision Bearer — With Love Uganda

"Uganda's future must be built by Ugandans — together, with love, one contribution at a time."

Alex Mwine is the Vision Bearer of With Love Uganda. He is an entrepreneur who has built and developed businesses in automobiles and logistics for over 15 years. He is the owner of Emotoka Investments Limited.

Driven by a deep love for Africa, Uganda in particular, and a conviction that Ugandans must take charge of their own destiny, Alex founded WLU in 2018 to harness the power of unity and collective contribution. His vision — that ordinary Ugandans contributing just UGX 10,000 per month can build hospitals, cities, and financial systems — is the beating heart of the 10K Project.

Governance

How WLU operates with integrity, structure, and accountability.

Registered organisation

WLU is a registered Ugandan organisation, operating within a clear legal and governance framework. We are non-political and non-religious — guided solely by what is best for Uganda and its people.

Financial accountability

Every member's UGX 10,000 contribution is managed with full transparency. WLU publishes Annual Reports documenting fund performance, membership growth, and project milestones so every contributor can track their investment.

Partnership-ready

We are actively seeking strategic partnerships to support and scale transformative initiatives, including the WLU Satellite City, affordable housing, healthcare, education, skills development, youth empowerment, innovation projects across Uganda.

“Joining WLU changed my outlook on what ordinary Ugandans can achieve together. The 10K Project proved that small, consistent contributions can build something extraordinary.”

“I support WLU because the vision aligns with everything I believe about Uganda's potential. We have the people, the energy, and now the platform to channel it meaningfully.”

“As a young Ugandan, I want to inherit a country that my generation helped build — not just receive it. WLU gives the youth a seat at the table and a role in our own story.”
